About Jerry
I started my real estate career in 1986 with
Merrill Lynch Realty in Santa Rosa, California. After
6 challenging and unprofitable months, I was finally
able to earn my first commission. Since I was already
a technology focused person, I promptly spent
that first commission on my first PC, an IBM clone machine
with an amber monitor and a dot matrix printer.
Quickly realizing the value of computer's to a real
estate career, I utilized the computer to catapult
myself into the upper 10% of the sales people in the
office. As I continued on my path, I became
the Assistant Manager of that office in just 14
months, and ten months later became the Branch Office
Manager for the Walnut Creek office.
Since that time, I have managed an office for
Merrill Lynch Realty, Mason McDuffie Real Estate,
Prudential Real Estate, Alain Pinel Realtors and am
now a Branch Manager for Pacific Union Real Estate
with responsibility for the Danville
Office.
No matter where my career path has taken me, I
have consistently increased my knowledge and skills in
both real estate and technology, and today am
recognized as a technology and real estate trainer and
leader. What I hope to emphasize to all the real
estate professionals I interact with, is that
technology can build and enhance your real estate
career to levels that truly can not be achieved
otherwise. It's crucially important to keep up with
the times and to always look for new and innovative
ways that technology can make your real estate career
as rewarding as possible.
